Greetup – Visitation Management System Made Easy

In the past few months, we have developed Greetup, a visitation management system aiming to help companies manage and gather insight from their field teams. It can be used by a sales team, merchandiser, surveyor, and any other organizations that deploy their team to the field.

Greetup is not our first work in Visitation Management System.

Since 2013, Algostudio has created custom-made Visitation Management Systems for several notable multinational companies. It’s one of the most impactful solutions we make, and companies have been using it for more than six years (and counting)!

Why we create Greetup

We see firsthand how Visitation Management Tools could help companies with a field team.

The ability to get the data from the field in real time and turn it into a report makes companies react faster.

For example, you could ask your field team how the competitor performs in the field, and you will see the result in the dashboard and act where you should push your promotion.

You could ask your field team about the market reaction to your new product, see the result in the dashboard and act accordingly.

The possibility is endless.

Not only is it impactful for the executive and decision-maker, but it’s also helpful for the field team.

This story happened a few years ago.

One day, we were invited to an annual gathering by our client as the developer who developed the app and was meant to give training. We were picked up at the airport by the committee with another field team from a different city. Since we wore the same uniform, the other team thought we were a fellow field team from a different city. Seeing an opportunity to get some honest feedback, I asked them how the new field app was. I anticipated a bit of rejection since it was common for new users, especially those who had previously been working manually, to reject changes in their workflow.

What unfolded was a surprising response. They enthusiastically told us that the new app was tremendously helpful. Before using this app, they had to stay up at night painstakingly creating a report in a spreadsheet of the work in the field they did the previous day and sending the result through email to the headquarter. But now, their job was complete right after they left the store. All the report was already automatically generated and sent.

We were back at the office with a newfound spirit to work on and improve the system.

Hearing firsthand how our work impacts the company and its people makes us very happy in a way that no money can buy.

And it’s saving money!

Another storytime.

Several years ago, I was called by my client, and he said that our solution got many employees fired. I was tense. I said, “What happened?” I thought maybe a false report in the dashboard or a bug in the report. He called at the odd hour, so I assumed it was something terrible.

It turned out it was not something terrible (at least for us). Our system detected any malicious attempt when the user tried to commit fraud. And it turned out that the company had several employees that did that regularly. They must have lost lots of money!

Several years after that event, I got the same call with the same topic from a different company. Many employees got fired because our system caught them committing fraud.

I was not so surprised anymore.

Fake and late check-in hurt the company and create an unfair work environment. Honest employees will have lower performance than the ones who are not.

Winter is coming.

We understand that with more and more news about the upcoming recession, our first instinct is to hold the spending. But in our opinion, the solution it’s not that straightforward. Dealing with recession means we must work intelligently and agile to prevent unnecessary loss while also capturing new opportunities.

We have faced several “winter is coming” scenarios (the 1998 recession, Covid-19, etc.). Though, yes, many companies were affected negatively (even to the point of bankruptcy), many others not only survived this “dark era” but also thrived in that. We believe Greetup will help you to achieve the latter.

But don’t just take our word for it.

For a limited seat, we decided to give a free three-month trial for the enterprise plan (the highest plan we’ve got) for a company with more than 50 field employees. Contact our sales team using the form below to get started.

What happened with our custom development service?

We have a separate team working on Custom Development and Greetup. So, if you are Algostudio’s clients and reading this, let me assure you there are no changes in our custom development team.

If you are currently not a client and want to create a custom solution for your company, you can use this button below to schedule a short 15 minutes meeting and let’s talk.
